Kathleen McConnell RPh, MBA, CMPP™

Kathleen brings vast industry, agency, and scientific experience in high-level strategic leadership roles to Lumanity. In her position as Managing Director of the Communications capability, Kathleen leads day-to-day organization operations, provides strategic account oversight, and supports business development opportunities.

A registered pharmacist, Kathleen received a BS Pharmacy degree from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, an MBA degree in marketing from Drexel University, and is an ISMPP Certified Medical Publications Professional™. Kathleen began her professional career as a staff pharmacist. She then joined the pharmaceutical industry as a Scientific Informational Specialist in a Medical Affairs department, after which she transitioned to medical publishing and agency account services. Accomplishments attained during her 25+ years in scientific communications and publications feature proven senior-level organizational management, comprehensive oversight of company operations, account and project management, and leadership in developing strategic medical and scientific communications. Kathleen’s therapeutic areas of expertise include women’s health, cardiovascular disease, oncology, hematology, and endocrine disorders.
