Suzette Matthijsse MSc, PhD

Senior Director, Strategic Advisory Services, HEOR

As a senior director of strategic advisory services (HEOR) at Lumanity, Suzette helps clients globally succeed in early pipeline value strategy, evidence planning, and health technology assessment. She has been instrumental in developing our European HEOR services, having set up our European Union Health Technology Assessment (EU HTA) Regulation internal working group, which she co-leads, while also leading the development of joint clinical assessment strategies and dossiers.

Suzette holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Methodology and Statistics in Behavioural and Social Sciences, an MSc in Health Sciences, and a PhD in Public Health, focused on the health economic modeling of prevention strategies for human papillomavirus and cervical cancer in the Netherlands.

Before joining the company in 2018, Suzette was a senior scientific researcher at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam. Her primary research areas were the modeling of infectious diseases and screening programs for the early detection of cancers in the Netherlands, the US, and developing countries. Suzette has worked on a range of indications, both oncologic and non-oncologic, based at both global and country levels.
