Valarie Leishman

Valarie’s role as Lead Patient and Professional Stakeholder Services is to build and extend Lumanity’s relationships with patient communities to our clients’ businesses. Our partnerships are focused on uncovering patient-centric insights and building educational and communications programs that improve the lives of people living with cancer and rare diseases.

She has worked as a nurse in acute and research settings, and in various roles in the pharmaceutical industry, including marketing and clinical research. Her work in medical education with a blood cancer patient advocacy organization informs her current role with Lumanity.

Valarie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
