Amit joined Lumanity as a Senior Director in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team (known as our HEOR team) in January 2022, bringing over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries, including roles at Novartis and Parexel. At Lumanity, his primary responsibilities include conducting and leading systematic and targeted literature reviews (SLRs and TLRs) to support our clients’ internal decision making, as well as the launch and reimbursement of medicines in countries where health technology assessments (HTAs) are conducted, such as across Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia, among others. Amit has also worked on network meta-analyses, global value dossiers, and supporting HTA submissions. His experience covers several disease areas, including solid tumors, hematology, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, mental health disorders, and autoimmune diseases.
He has authored manuscripts published in peer-reviewed journals and often contributes to abstracts presented at international conferences. Amit actively supports technology related initiatives at Lumanity, including tech enablement and artificial intelligence-assisted SLRs.
Amit holds a postgraduate Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a Bachelor of Law, both from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. Additionally, he has a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from Symbiosis in Pune, India.
