Nick Watson PhD

Nick leads the medical education and promotional medical education services and offerings at Lumanity. Partnering with global and US teams, he supports the content strategy and development of scientific and medical value platforms to reach healthcare providers (HCPs) across multiple channels.

Over the past 15 years, Nick has developed extensive experience both in medical and marketing communications with responsibility for scientific strategy, content, and expert engagement. His experience is in a wide range of areas, including cardiovascular disease and devices, CNS, diabetes, endocrinology, infectious disease, MASH, obesity, osteoarthritis, pain (chronic and postoperative), and rare diseases.

Nick has launched a number of drugs including first-in-class products across diabetes, MASH, and obesity franchises. His favorite activities are supporting teams in pre-launch disease state/market shaping activities, and conducting live events ranging from Investigator and Results meetings, advisory boards, and speaker training meetings.

Nick received his Master’s and PhD from the University of Louisville in pharmacology and toxicology. His research was a collaboration between the Cancer Center and the School of Engineering focused on DNA damage, cell cycle regulation, and oncogenesis.
