Returning for its 39th year, The Rx Club continues to honor creative that makes an impact in healthcare advertising through the innovative and powerful use of art and copy. Being recognized as a finalist is a prestigious honor as The Rx Club Show is an international icon in the healthcare industry.
Our nomination for the Public Service Announcements category highlights our highly successful pro-bono campaign for CancerCare’s Pet Assistance & Wellness Program, which supports pet owners undergoing cancer treatment who may struggle to care for their pets. The “PAWS Cause Fundraiser-in-a-box” campaign was created to promote corporate sponsorship fundraising through the use of customizable multi-channel templates. Clever wordplay with year round seasonal initiatives characterized each fundraiser template, with examples like the “Be My PAWlentine” fundraiser for Valentine’s Day and the “PAWSitively Thankful” fundraiser for Thanksgiving.
Several internal and external teams collaborated to ensure a unified vision using creative, media, and client strategic services. A special thank you to CancerCare for partnering with us on the campaign and providing invaluable feedback and guidance.
