Denis Getsios
Denis Getsios is Senior Vice President, Scientific Strategy and Applications at Lumanity and joined the organization at its formation in 2020. Prior to joining Lumanity, Denis was General Manager of the Evidence Synthesis, Modeling & Communications team at Evidera, leading a group of over 150 consultants specializing in health economic modeling, biostatistics, evidence synthesis and market access communications.
Denis has worked as a health economist for over 25 years and has specialized in the development of economic and epidemiologic models. He has worked in numerous therapeutic areas, including Alzheimer’s disease, infectious diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity and smoking cessation and has experience in discrete event simulation, Markov modeling, DICE simulations, survival partition analysis and other innovative techniques for assessing the health and economic impact of medical technologies.
Denis has co-authored numerous publications and presented his research at both national and international conferences. He has also served as a reviewer for a number of journals including, Applied Health Economics & Health Policy, Expert Review of Pharmacoeconomics & Outcomes Research, Pharmacoeconomics, Drugs, Clinical Drug Investigation, and the American Journal of Geriatric Pharmacotherapy.
