Jess Berard is a Senior Vice President at Lumanity and one of the co-leads of the US strategy consulting group, based in the New York City office. She has more than 12 years of experience in commercial and corporate strategy, with a focus on therapeutic area strategy across immunology, neurology, and metabolic disease. Her work centers on commercial and launch strategy, along with BD diligence and opportunity assessments, helping biopharma clients decide which opportunities to pursue and how to bring them to market.
Jess also plays a role in Lumanity’s tech-enabled transformation, helping shape how the consulting practice evolves.
Before joining Lumanity, Jess built her consulting foundation at ClearView Healthcare Partners, where she reached senior leadership and co-led the firm’s Launch and Commercialization Center of Excellence.
Outside the office, Jess lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter, where weekends usually mean good coffee and time with friends.
Jess holds a PhD in Medicine from McGill University and completed a neurology fellowship at Columbia University. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human kinetics from the University of Guelph.
