Lumanity’s President of US Insights, Angela Wheeler, has been featured in Endpoints News’ fourth annual feature on LGBTQ+ leaders in biopharma. The article honors individuals shaping the future of not only their community, but also the biotechs, pharmaceutical companies and other organizations involved in making and bringing new medicines to patients.
In the interview, Angela highlights the importance of amplifying underrepresented voices in drug development. She said that her biggest commitment to the LGBTQ+ community is being out at work, sharing her story within the broader organization, and lending support to folks who need it. She discusses how even though it is “very difficult, trying, and scary times as pharma companies shift away from diversity and inclusion efforts, Lumanity, is standing firm in its support for underrepresented groups, including the queer community.”
