In the interview, Jon highlights the importance of advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion in the biopharma industry, highlighting that though we’ve come a long way, there is always more work to do. He also discusses creating workplace environments where everyone feels accepted, and insists on upholding these values to ensure the next generation of LGBTQ+ people working in biopharma have role models. “Every young person needs to be able to look at somebody else and say, ‘I see myself in that person, and that person is successful, and I want to be like that person.”
