At Lumanity, our core values – respect, diversity, impact, and action – extend beyond our client work and into the communities we serve. We are thrilled to share a recent partnership with Special Olympics Massachusetts, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities through athletic competition.
This summer, Lumanity volunteers and their families joined forces with over 1,500 athletes at the Massachusetts Special Olympics Summer Games held at Harvard University. Our team played a vital role in supporting the pool events, guiding athletes to their designated races and assisting at the awards tents. The day was an unforgettable experience filled with smiles, laughter, and a powerful sense of community. Witnessing the athletes’ determination, teamwork, and unwavering spirit firsthand was truly inspirational.
“My favorite part of the day was being part of the relay races,” shared a Lumanity volunteer. “The energy was contagious! The pool was filled with cheers and applause from everyone – athletes, families, and volunteers alike. It was a privilege to be involved in such a meaningful event.”
