Lumanity Announces the Appointment of Michael Parisi as Chief Client Officer to Support Delivery of Client-Centric Solutions and Industry Thought Leadership

Announcements Apr 9, 2025

Lumanity is excited to announce the appointment of Michael Parisi as our new Chief Client Officer, a pivotal role within our Executive Leadership Team. This strategic role underscores our commitment to elevate the conversations we’re having with clients, and to provide highly differentiated solutions by bringing together our deep specialisms in the most impactful way possible.

“As the healthcare market continues to change at an accelerated pace, it is critically important that we build deep partnerships with our clients that enable us to bring the full value of Lumanity to solve their biggest challenges,” says Jon Williams, CEO of Lumanity.  “In his new role, Michael will act as a bridge between our clients and our internal specialist-led teams, ensuring that we continue to foster a customer-centric approach. This commitment to customer-centricity is central to our mission at Lumanity, allowing us to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.”

Prior to taking on this role, Michael served as Global Practice Lead for Lumanity’s Medical Strategy and Communications business.  He joined Lumanity in late 2021 through the acquisition of Guidemark Health, where he was the CEO. Michael has spent his entire career working across all aspects of product development and commercialization within the oncology and rare disease markets. Before joining Guidemark Health, Michael spent over 17 years at WPP, running the specialty marketing divisions of Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide. Michael has always been passionate about identifying healthcare’s biggest challenges and working collaboratively to create innovative solutions that change the way diseases are diagnosed, viewed and treated. A brand strategist by day, he is a passionate patient advocate at heart, currently serving as the Board President for CancerCare (a US-based non-profit organization) and is a member of the Board of Directors for LUNGevity (a non-profit organization focused on lung cancer). He has been recognized by PM 360 as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Healthcare and the inaugural class of MM&M Pinnacle Awards, designed to celebrate the marketers, strategists and creators who have scaled the industry’s heights — but aren’t ready to stop climbing anytime soon.

“We are a thought-leader based organization that has amazing talent with deep expertise across some of the most important areas of the commercialization journey. We want to ensure that we are sharing our point of view on areas that are disrupting the traditional approach to bring new therapies to market including like AI-use in the drug development and commercialization process, integrated evidence planning and patient focused drug development to name a few,” says Michael Parisi, Chief Client Officer, Lumanity. “I’m excited to bring these insights to some of the fastest moving therapeutic areas such as oncology, rare diseases, neuroscience and cell and gene therapies.”
