We will commit to set near- and long-term company-wide emission reductions in line with science-based net-zero. The SBTi provides companies with a clearly-defined pathway to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the latest climate science, aiming to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, with efforts to limit the increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius. By aligning with the SBTi, we are not only acknowledging the pressing need for climate action, but also committing to setting and achieving ambitious emissions reduction targets.
