Betül Susamis Unaran

Betül is the Chief Commercial Officer and Member of the Executive Leadership Team at Unilabs. She is an experienced healthcare leader with a proven track record of driving successful commercial and digital transformations.Prior to joining the company, Betül was Chief Strategy and Digital Officer and Executive Board Member of Zur Rose Group, where she led the development of the European Healthcare Ecosystem.

She has held leadership positions such as Global Head of DigitalMedicines for Novartis Pharma, where she was also a member of the Global Commercial Leadership Team and Global Digital Leadership Team. She was responsible for reimagining medicine with data and digital for better lives and healthcare outcomes. Betül was also previously the Global Head of Digital for Ferring Pharmaceuticals and worked at senior level for McKinsey & Company in London and Geneva, and Procter & Gamble in Germany and Turkey.

Betül is part of the Advisory Board of Arsenal Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm focusing on investments in specialty industrials and healthcare businesses. She is also a Member of Board of Directors for two additional companies since September 2022, dss+ (DuPont Sustainable Solutions) in Switzerland, and Brain+, Digital Therapeutics Company for Dementia and Alzheimers Disease, in Denmark. In 2021 joined the Board of Directors of Ypsomed, a leading developer and manufacturer of injection and infusion systems for self-medication and a renowned diabetes specialist with over 35 years’ experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Bogazici University and an MBA from INSEAD. Betül was listed in the 2022 Global Top CDO 100 by HotTopics.ht in partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (January 2022) and named one of “20 amazing Women leading Europe’s tech revolution” by Mindquest (April 2021)
