Carolina Lahmann PhD
Carolina Lahmann is a vice president at Lumanity. Her expertise spans multiple therapeutic areas including, rare diseases, immunology, reproductive medicine, with a concentration in neuroscience. She has extensive experience in early commercial strategy, with her work spanning indication and portfolio prioritization, opportunity assessments, competitive landscaping, TPP development, co-positioning strategy, and brand planning. She is also a key member of Lumanity’s DEI community as co-founder of Clarion’s DEI Working Group.
Prior to joining Lumanity, Carolina received her doctorate in Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics from the University of Oxford, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School. Her research focused on neuronal cellular metabolism and elucidating the anti-epileptic mechanisms of the ketogenic diet.
Outside the office, Carolina enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, running, and gardening.
Carolina completed her undergraduate in Pharmacology at University College London in the United Kingdom.
