David Schwartz PhD
David excels at analyzing how science informs healthcare product stewardship, including drug and device approvals, substantiation of marketing claims, general regulatory support, and challenges to product safety and effectiveness in the regulatory and legal arenas.
Over the course of his 30-year consulting career, David has helped clients support business activities related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and industrial chemicals in the courts, the regulatory arena, and the marketplace. With a talent for communicating complex scientific information, David has become a go-to resource for regulators, marketing professionals, lawyers, and financial and investment firms. Trained as a neuroscientist, David’s expertise has spanned a wide array of disciplines related to the health sciences, including toxicology, epidemiology, environmental health and safety, biostatistics, pharmacology, and regulatory affairs.
Dr. Schwartz received a PhD in Neuroscience from Princeton University and postdoctoral training in Neuropharmacology and Neurophysiology from the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University.
