Jon Bigelow
Jon Bigelow builds successful businesses, brands, strategies, and teams. He began as a medical writer and editor establishing respected, highly-read controlled-circulation clinical journals, became president of a prominent medical publisher, partnered with a private equity firm to build an international health information business, and led an industry organization on health communications policy. He continues to serve on boards and as an advisor to offer senior-level insights on communications, outsourced pharma services, health policy, and M&A.
In 2007, Jon worked with ABRY Partners to create KnowledgePoint360 Group. As CEO, he guided its transformation from traditional provider into best-in-class leader in multichannel health communications, strategic consulting, workflow solutions, and benchmarking/advisory services--redirecting the company's strategy, building an innovative team and culture, and introducing new services. KnowledgePoint360 was a team of 700 professionals serving 75 biopharma clients through 11 offices in the U.S., U.K., and Germany, growing right through the “Great Recession” until its sale in 2014.
Jon previously was President of Cliggott Publishing, then one of the largest providers of medical journals and related communications programs, and Group VP/GM of CMPMedica. Earlier he was founding Editor of innovative clinical controlled-circulation journals defining new categories, Editorial Director of the best-read primary care clinical journal in the U.S., and Program Editor for Physicians Radio Network.
Jon is former Executive Director of the Coalition for Healthcare Communication. He also is or has been board member or advisor to Remedy Health Media, Wainscot Media, and the Association of Medical Media; is an invited speaker on health policy and medical communications; and is active in church and community groups and nonprofit organizations.
