Julia Ralston
Julia serves as Special Advisor to the CEO and Board. In her previous role with Lumanity, she was Chief Business Officer and Global Practice Lead, Medical Strategy and Communications, having become part of Lumanity through the acquisition of Cello Health in 2020.
Julia has broad global experience that includes prior roles in Asia-Pacific and Europe, but has spent the bulk of her career in the United States, where earlier she co-founded and successfully grew two healthcare communication agencies. The second of these, MedErgy HealthGroup, started in 2002 and developed a reputation as a leading medical communications company before it was acquired by Cello Health plc in 2011. Over the following decade, Julia was CEO of Cello Health, US and also a Director on the Cello Health plc Board from 2018 to 2020.
Her role and contributions in the medical communications industry were recognized when she became the first female to hold the peer-elected position of Chair of the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) Board of Trustees in 2010-2011.
