Julie Munakata MS

Julie Munakata is the Global President for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Lumanity. She is responsible for leading the strategy, management, and operations of Lumanity’s health economic, evidence evaluation, value strategy, and patient-centered outcomes offerings.

Julie has over 20 years’ experience working in HEOR and Real World Evidence (RWE). Before joining Lumanity, Julie was the Chief Operating Officer at Genesis Research Group where she was responsible for overseeing global science and technology, HR and talent acquisition, and quality management. Before that, she served as the Vice President and General Manager of Medical and Scientific Services at IQVIA where she led the US HEOR and Drug Safety & Epidemiology business. Julie has produced over 100 publications and presentations in the field of HEOR.

Julie holds a BS in Psychobiology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and an MS in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
