Meena Venkatachalam MSc

As the Global Head of RWE Consulting, Meena specializes in helping clients develop a pragmatic real world evidence (RWE) strategy to suit regulatory and payer needs. This includes, but is not limited to, integrated evidence generation planning, shaping of RWE study designs, and data source due diligence. She has a particular interest in developing RWE strategies which are fit-for-purpose for health technology assessment (HTA) audiences and support reimbursement approvals.

Prior to joining Lumanity, Meena spent over 10 years across various roles which included supporting public health assessments for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and European Commission, supporting Evidence Review Groups (ERGs) in the UK with the review of manufacturer submissions to NICE, and development of global evidence packages for launch in HTA markets including economic models, systematic reviews, indirect treatment comparisons, and real-world evidence.

Meena holds a BSc in Economics from New York University and a MSc in Health Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
