Sam Barnes has more than 25 years’ experience across the marketing and communications spectrum, including scientific communications, medical education, brand marketing, corporate communications and public relations, market access, advocacy development and omnichannel communications.
He is responsible for strategic oversight and senior leadership of key client relationships and accounts globally and leads the development and supports the delivery of global account growth strategies and coordinates the MSC practice’s marketing and thought leadership strategy.
Sam has expertise in a variety of therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular/metabolic, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, rare diseases, and immunology.
He oversees a variety of programs and campaigns including HCP education programs, publications strategy and planning, brand launches and data milestones, access campaigns, branding and narrative development, issues management, and disease awareness campaigns.
Sam has a BSc in Physics (University of Manchester, UK) with a postgraduate diploma in marketing (UK Chartered Institute of Marketing).
