Suzette Matthijsse MSc, PhD

Suzette joined Lumanity (formerly BresMed) in 2018 and now leads the European Modelling and Analytics (M&A) team, with team members in the Netherlands, Ireland, and the UK. In addition to her EU Head responsibilities, she is also responsible for M&A global service strategy and business development operations. She holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Methodology and Statistics in Behavioural and Social Sciences, an MSc in Health Sciences, and a PhD in Public Health, focused on the health economic modeling of prevention strategies for human papillomavirus and cervical cancer in the Netherlands.

Before joining Lumanity, Suzette was a senior scientific researcher at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam. Her primary research areas were the modeling of infectious diseases and screening programs for the early detection of cancers in the Netherlands, the US, and developing countries. Suzette has worked on a large range of indications, both oncologic and non-oncologic, based at both global and country levels.
