Wilson Joe PhD, CMPP

Vice President, Medical Strategy, Communications

As Vice President, Medical Strategy of the Communications capability at Lumanity, Wilson is responsible for providing strategic insights to clients in order to maximize the impact of their scientific communications. Wilson has been working in medical communications for 14 years and is a Certified Medical Publication Professional. He has extensive experience supporting global and regional initiatives in medical affairs, health economics, and market access across a variety of therapeutic areas. He provides guidance on assets in all phases of development for existing and potential customers.

Prior to working in industry, Wilson held a number of academic research and teaching positions and has been a co-author on peer-reviewed scientific publications and textbook chapters. Wilson holds a PhD in Neural and Behavioral Sciences from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA, USA, and he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute and the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Functional Neuroimaging in Philadelphia, PA, USA. He also holds a BA in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.
