As the Chief Commercial and Development officer and Global Practice Lead of Lumanity's Real World Evidence business, Gema Parlange is responsible for ensuring the integrated commercial success of the company and supports all M&As, business development, marketing and growth initiatives whether they relate to existing or new customers, geographical expansion or offering enhancement.
Gema spent a significant portion of her career at IMS Health/IQVIA, where she developed expertise in finance, account management, commercial strategy, and general management. Some of her last positions included the general management of the Growth Region (Russia, CIS, MENA, Greece, Balkans and Turkey), worldwide leader for IMS’ Global Market Measurement business practice, the commercial leadership of the Technology franchise, and the implementation and expansion of Global Key Account Management with focus on the US, Europe, Japan, India, and China.
Before joining Lumanity, she was Global Head PAREXEL Access Consulting, managing a senior team of service line leaders and professionals, located in the US, Europe, and India and covering all aspects of pricing, market access, RWE analytics and HEOR, with responsibility for the overall strategy and business direction of the unit, and full P&L responsibility.
Gema holds a double Masters degree in Economics and Business Administration by the University of Deusto, Spain and a Certificat de Langue et Civilisation Francaise by the University of Aix-en-Provence, France.
