The global launch lead accountable for the launch of a newly ‘in-licensed’ asset across EU & Canada.
Challenge
Following the biggest in-licensing deal in the company’s history, partner obligations and internal expectations demanded a full commercial plan within 3 months and a first launch within 6-months, in parallel to existing launch priorities. With minimal recent TA launch experience and limited resources, Lumanity were engaged to define achievable launch timing and establish an ambitious yet achievable launch activity plan.
Our Approach
- Kick-off meeting co-hosted by the leadership sponsor to brief the working group and gain their commitment to the project.
- Discovery: Key document review and 1:1 calls with global and affiliate launch leads to understand launch context and needs, key milestones, planned activities and key gaps.
- Plan structure: Re-alignment of Lumanity templates to align with client asset strategy and nomenclature
- Critical path: Mapping of the key events, milestones and activities that impact ability or time to launch to define the best-case Commercial Launch date
- Strawman activity plan Lumanity build of draft integrated activity plan from discovery input to pre-agreed level of detail. Plan iterated following review and short follow up calls with workstream leads.
- Alignment and prioritization workshop with global and German teams to prioritize the integrated plan and ensure cross-functional alignment on accountabilities, key dependencies and collaboration requirements
- Risk and opportunities: Identification, prioritization (impact and likelihood) and agreement of ownership and required actions
- Finalized plan: Delivery of base-line plan for upload into client launch mgmt. platform, and agreement of ways of working to track plan execution and ensure timely escalation and issue resolution as needed
